Friday - Ken apologized for yelling at me when he woke up, then e-mailed work that he wasn't coming in. Did not luck out on parking, but I had plenty of time before class started. Chatted with some girls from class, then headed into tutoring for Property. I had completely forgotten about it, but that's just one more reason why it's good to be there early. Tutoring went well, then we had an hour break, then Contracts. I had been confused about a case - no matter how I tried to synthesize it, I couldn't make it fit. We get to class and he tells us that sometimes, cases just don't fit. :-D Good to know. Another break, then Civil Procedure. We studied in the library for that, and I thought I had a good grasp of it, but this disappeared very quickly once I got to class. Finally, we had our first tutoring session for criminal law. It was a waste of time, for the most part, and many people left. Others just decided to carry on their own conversations, which one of the other students called them on. Finally out, Trisha offered to give me a ride to my car. Normally, I wouldn't have accepted - I like the walk, and it's part of what's getting me into shape these days. That being said, I really wanted to go home and start my weekend. Got home and called Ken, who was hanging out at Leo's sister's house. When he got there, we headed directly over to Leo's hotel room, and then walked over to Urban Mo's. The kids from PrideLaw were there, though it was a little crowded, and a little awkward. Ken bought me a drink, and encouraged me to eat and to socialize with them while he went off with Leo. I did, and had one more drink while I was there. I also had some of the fried green beans they brought. Got a bit tipsy, talked a bit much, then rejoined Leo and Ken at their table. We lingered there a bit longer, then headed over to Lei Lounge. We picked up Matthew on the way, and we all had a VERY strong drink when we got there. Matthew Tisdale and his friend Nikki joined us, though we left them while they were still eating their meal. Ken wanted me to eat something, since I'd only had my rice in the morning and the green beans at Mo's. I offered to make more rice at home, but that would have taken too long. Over to Universal after that, where Matt bought me a drink, and we ran into Kenny and Nelson. We danced a little, chilled a little, that sort of thing. Leo was VERY drunk by this point, and Ken stayed with him to get him to sober up before heading over to Rich's. I let Dallas borrow my Frog's Membership, and we headed over before the cutoff. Saw Hank and Jonathan in line, who are both looking THIN, and they congratulated me on my ring. Inside, we danced for a little while, but mostly waited for our friends to join us. Ken joined us before too long, and we even ran into Michael, and his friend Brian Wood on the dance floor. I took my shirt off for the first time in loooong time, but was feeling a little less than energetic. Kenny decided he wanted to go back over to Universal, so Ken and I accompanied him. We had a shot there, and I saw Miriam! Back over to Universal, where Leo was just about done for the night. We walked him most of the way back to his hotel room, and ran into Dan from the other week and his partner....Steve? We could probably have gone home with them, but I didn't think of it at the time. Got Leo to within a block of his hotel, then hiked up Washington back to the car. Ken wanted me to pop on and find us some fun, but warned that I needed to do it quickly, because he was about to tap out. He also talked about how he doesn't feel attractive these days, and how he can't pick someone up anymore. We were just around the corner from the house, and I mentioned that I used to be able to find someone fast online when I was negative. Ken was suddenly LIVID, and stormed off. He punched the fence on his way in, and demolished some of the vines that creep through from the neighbor's yard. Inside, I checked e-mail and the like, made myself some rice. He came out after a while, and encouraged me to come to bed with him. I stayed up a little longer - I had to finish my rice, and then I made some oatmeal dough from the roommate's stash. Drank a big glass or two of water, then crashed on the couch.
