Ken's Mum Comes To Town
Aug. 9th, 2008 04:46 pmFriday - I was pretty sleepy when I got up, but my eyes snapped open when I remembered that I needed to move my car. Did that, and found my sleepy gone. Popped onto Facebook, made with the hero-ness. I also called The Center and made my appointment for counseling. Monday's the day! Ken mentioned that he was coming home early, so I worked out, got cleaned up, etc. etc. He called when he was leaving work and asked me to put in an order to Daphne's for him and Justin, so I did that, and then made some TVP for myself....then a little more, then a little more. And then a little more. He stopped by to give me a kiss hello, then ate his food over at Justin's. Justin followed him back over, as his computer is very very broken. I'd found a good replacement for him, but he didn't seem interested, so he just used our computer while I typed on my laptop in the roommates room. Ken laid down in the living room, and I eventually laid down on the roommate's bed. Fell asleep there, only to be woken a few minutes later by Ken quietly approaching. He bugged me for a little while, but I was good and down, so he eventually got tired of it and left. I was in the kitchen drinking some emergen-c, when he hugged me from behind, and started to get hard. I wasn't really in the mood, but I was ready, so we went ahead and had sex. Right choice! Sex was awesome (he grabbed the headboard!), and picked my mood right up! We were running a little late by that point to go get his mum, so we hurried out to get her.
After picking her up from the airport, we stopped by Ralph's so she could get groceries for the weekend. Back at home, the two of them got caught up and chatted, and I poked about online. I like my laptop. Eventually, we headed over to Soltan Banoo, which had really really great hummus, fantastic tabouli, and an awesome vegan wrap. Someday, when I go out to eat, I'll make that a regular spot. We took the long way home, stopping by houses that were for sale and ones that we wished were for sale, and then popped over to Blockbuster. While they browsed, I straightened shelves and the like. They settled on "Cloverfield" and then we walked over to Golden Spoon for frozen yogurt. I sat at a table while they waited in line, and I wish I had waited with them. Some bitch was in line before them, bitching about having to wait for her ice cream. It was the self-posessed entitlement that San Diegans are famous for, but more than that, she was being rude to some people who were obviously working very hard to make everyone happy, and I would have liked to take her down a peg for them, since they can't say anything to her. Anyway, back at home, they watched Cloverfield, I read the wikipedia entry on it, then finished one of my law books, and we went to bed.
