Sunday - We talked about the night before, Ken insisting that I was mean and hitting below the belt, but unable to give any examples except that I repeatedly called him selfish. We also discussed that, now that I was no longer drunk. He doesn't feel it's fair to characterize someone with the label "selfish" for behavior they only engage in sometimes. To illustrate the difference in how we felt as gently as possible, I mentioned that I feel that I'm a vicious person, even though I'm only vicious in a certain set of circumstances. We eventually agreed to disagree, got up and started our day. Nelson invited us over for pre-cocktails, followed by brunch at Cafe Eleven, so we headed over there. Justin had spent the night, and apparently there were two hot boyfriends wrasslin on the street outside just after we left the night before. They boys had cocktails, though I was in no mood, so we just sat and chatted until it was time to go. Dallas, Chris, and Brandon were already there waiting for us, though they hadn't ordered yet. The food took an unusually long time to arrive, and Chris and Brandon had to push their interview with a potential roommate back, but the food was apparently wonderful when it arrived. Justin, Jay, and Nelson went to see Hellboy 2, Brandon and Chris went to interview their roommate, and Ken, Dallas and I went home to wait. I putzed about online while the boys watched TV...eventually it got to be late enough that we agreed to take separate cars down to the mall. Ken wanted to stop by DSW and a couple other stores for Pride clothes. We went to DSW, where Ken and Chris bought shoes, then to Old Navy, which had shirts that Ken wanted, but not in his size, and finally to Marshall's, where I ended up buying a dual-pack shirt for $10. I hadn't meant to, but it really was a good deal. After that, we headed over to Fashion Valley, where the boys sat at the Cheesecake Factory bar and drank Strawberry Martini's. I could have accompanied them to the next stop, but I opted to be just a little early to rehearsal instead of just a little late. Rehearsal went well - I got to meet New Anna, and had a discussion of sharing a young Canadian man with Anthony. Sat around chatting for a bit afterwards before finally heading home. I'd had two protein shakes so far, and didn't want to eat anything else before dinner, so I wanted to put off getting home until I was sure we were just about to leave. We stopped at TJ's and Ralph's before we left, picked up some mixers and some non-vegan guac and sour cream. Over at Chris and Brandon's, Brandon put me to work while the boys stayed out and chatted in the living room. Nikki and Daniel joined us as well, and brought mixers and non-vegan tortillas. No worries - Brandon had brought black beans as well as non-vegan refried, and I had a taco thing with those, tomatoes, salsa, lettuce, and some tofutti cream cheese they had in their fridge. The whole night was going to be board games, and we started with Uno, which I ended up winning, but then moved to Skip-Bo, which limited the number of players. Chris and Justin tapped out, and I opted just to watch. Clue was the next game, and I was going to watch that, but wandering around seemed much more entertaining at that point in my sobriety. Ended up upstairs, watching Madonna videos with Chris, and then it was suddenly 11pm and time to leave. I had been expecting to stay longer, but given that everyone else had to work the next day, I totally understood. Home and snuggles.
