Just Didn't Feel Like Working
Jul. 9th, 2008 09:48 amTuesday - Got up on time, but neither Ken nor I felt like doing much of anything. After he left for work, I pretty much did nothing. I looked at more laptops, checked out the books I'm supposed to buy, and not much else. I did pop onto A4A, but didn't want to hook up just yet. I meant to go to the gym, then maybe come back and hook up, but I ended up beating off at home before going to the gym. Right after I came, I suddenly felt very bad about myself. Not really sure what caused that, but the result was that I ate three bowls of oatmedough before finally getting off my fat ass and heading down to the gym. Ken and I had both had a little sore-throatness happening, some congestion and the like, so I started my workout a little slow. Also had a little trouble with my congestion, which was loud and distracting to the folks working out around me. The crazy thing was that time was really flying by - I didn't even start to really count the seconds until I reached minute 35. Ended up working out for just over 43 minutes, 5 miles, and 833 calories. Rawr! Also did some bicep work, but called it quits after that. I still wasn't tired, but I figured that it was a good stopping point. After that, I went over to Best Buy, where I got a raincheck for the laptop I want, even though they don't usually give rainchecks, and walked around Food4Less for a while. Didn't buy anything, but it's good to know their prices. I had been going to scope out Barnes and Noble in the Hazard Center mall, but decided to actually buy my books instead. I had started to feel a little...off by this time, so I laid down when I got home. I still wasn't feeling right when Ken got home. He was supposed to go apartment hunting with Nelson, but Nelson never called. We watched Voyager, and he made us dinner (rice, veggies, and tofu - standard, but very tasty). I did the dishes, and we sat on the couch watching...I dunno, something. Spent pretty much the rest of the night doing that, except when we went to Ralph's for something sweet.
