First Day Off!

Monday - I had intended to do a lot of cleaning, a little shopping, and get some studying done for books. I did a little cleaning, but Jason and Anthony were there, so I didn't vaccuum or anything like that. I cleaned up the computer desk, started laundry, and did some internet shopping for what will someday be my new laptop. I dropped off Ken's storage check, then a couple letters at he post office, and walked around Ralph's and TJ's for a bit. Ran into Joy Keller (former co-worker from IDEA), who seemed initially not to recognize me, and to be not very enthused in any event. Walked over to Whole Foods after that, and bought some dreaded oatmeal. Back at home, I finished up laundry, did dishes, and putzed about online. Jason flight left at 4:30, so he and Anthony left around 3. Once they were gone, I took the trash out, vacuumed, cleaned up the bathroom and myself. Ken came home as I was just finishing up the bathroom and thanked me for cleaning. He'd had kind of a rough day - the bank finally accepted his offer on the Meade place back on Thursday, but someone had come in with a higher offer. Back to square one. On the plus side, his stimulus check arrived, so we walked down to the bank together and deposited it. The manager there was both friendly and adorable. Justin called on the way back, and the boys decided on Daphne's for dinner. I didn't want anything, but I was delighted that Ken opted for the vegetarian combo meal. Over at Jusin's, I really didn't need to eat anymore, but I had the grilled corn from the BBQ, since it would just have been thrown away otherwise. Stayed through Family Guy, but tapped out when they started watching a movie. Felt gross at home, but didn't eat anymore. Ken came home around 9:20, just as I was gearing up to do tummy-work. I don't feel like my bicycle sets are really doing it for me anymore, so I'm going back to Katie's Wednesday workout routine. Anastacia for crunches, then holding plank to "The Sweetest Goodbye". Ken watched "Intervention" with Anthony, and then we went to bed.
