I Really Am That Simple

Wednesday - Went into work early, though not as early as I had hoped. It was rough. Still managed to get a decent amount of work done, and could have stayed an extra half hour, but I was too tired. Got cleaned up when I got home, laid down...must've fallen asleep, because it was suddenly 20 minutes later. Ken had told me he'd be home at 5:15 or so, to finish some stuff at work, so I was a little surprised to see him home at 4:30. Only a little, though. He was all snuggly cuddly, and then made a bowl of cucumbers and went with Justin to pick up Justin's new car. I'm very very very very down with the affectionate, snuggly cuddly Ken. I'm only bothered because I think too much I want him to want to do it, not do it because I've told him I like it.
Anyway, called Anthony and let him know the news about the studio, and caught up on his life and times. I poked about on the computer until Ken got home, and then we went to the store to pick up taco fixins. On a whim, I checked the ingredients on the tortillas we were buying, and they turned out to not be vegan. Suited me fine, especially since I'm on this kick right now about having spent $6 on groceries in the last 2 weeks, and I didn't want to ruin it by eating stuff I didn't buy. Also, with White Party coming up.....
Justin joined us at home, I cooked the tofu while Ken chopped the rest of the stuff. I didn't end up actually eating, but I did have the leftover tofu after Ken and Justin decided they were done. Spent as much time as I could on the couch with Ken (almost 5 min!) before the TV drove me from the room. After the presidential debate, they watched American Idol, and Elizabeth joined them. I had a drink, and held plank, and was quite happy. I could have done with going to bed sooner than we did, but no worries. Also, for the first time in almost 2 weeks we had sex (I don't count Sunday night). Good stuff. Only now I want more. :-D
