Tuesday - We had D&D with the boys, who we haven't seen in ages, but I had still hoped for sex in between. Nada. We were supposed to meet the boys at Chicago Pizzeria, and got there a little late, but still earlier than the boys. Sean sent a text at one point, though Ken ignored it. Michael showed up, followed shortly thereafter by the other boys. He, Jon, David (the one that felt Ken up at The Hole), and a bunch of other folks are all going on the October cruise. Won't they have fun. He got a message from Sean while we were waiting, but ignored it. Game went well - first run of the full characters, and a very nearly disastrous fight. Some tweaking necessary, but that's the advantage of keeping one's character between games. I was going to have some TVP, but ended up just getting it ready for the next day.
Wednesday - Ken mentioned that dinner at Dallas' was on the table, but not what time. Ready for sex at home - nothing. Laid down for a while, and then headed over. The boys got Subway, though I opted out. One of the gents looked very familiar, and not just because he looked like TJ with a moustache.....I think he might've been a regular at Rocky for a week or two in the past. I did have a couple cocktails at Dallas', though I was good and paced myself. Sean sent another text, and it was ignored again. Came home, went to bed.
Thursday - Reading through some of the old e-mails that Ken had sent me in April of last year (specifically the one from when he left for Europe). They're kind of sad now. Thought waaaaay too much about those, and the events of the past couple months. Poured a drink when I got home and laid down. Ken laid down with me, and we had one of the best talks in recent memory. I was absolutely delighted that he was willing to go over these things. We didn't get it all out, since he had to leave for dinner and poker with Brandon, but it was a start. I wavered for a little while, on whether or not to invite Paul from A4A over - having just had the chat, I kind of wanted to be alone. Ended up calling him anyway, and it was the right thing to do. We had a great talk, though it went on a little too long. Still, I did good, I think, by not letting him stay when I started to get irritated. Drove him home, stayed up for a little longer, and then laid down. Ken came home not long after, and was slightly cranky - kept thinking I was leaving something out or similar. No worries.
Friday - Rough day at work. I got a talking to about a couple mistakes I've made recently. The fact that I made them is punishment enough, I think, but I still had to have a talk with Jason and assure him that it wasn't going to happen again. Between Thursday's talk with Ken and tax season coming to a close, I don't think it will. One other thing was that New Accounts kept about 150 priorities until 2:30, so it was a scramble to get them in. I ended up staying OT, and got home just in time to get cleaned up before Ken got home. We laid down for a nap (still no sex), though I didn't sleep much. I finally did get to sleep for the last part, and was slightly cranky when Ken woke me up and asked if I wanted to make us potstickers. He was awesome again, though, and my mood went away as I woke up. We went over to Justin's, and met with Cobus for a pre-cocktail, and then headed over to Universal for their invite-only opening party. It was a swanky place, and an open bar until 9, so we walked around, had a couple drinks. Saw Mike and his friend, as well as Gregg and Brian. Left there in time to run home and meet Jason. Ken, Nikki, and Dallas went out to Montage (re-opened on Friday's for Giant), and I drove Jason over to Rich's. Alexander was spinning, so I had high hopes for the night....he wasn't bad, but he also wasn't good. Jason kept mentioning leaving, but sadly just stayed there next to me being mopey. Oh, so this is what it's like to be Ken! A little after 1, I was on the side, looking at the sea of men on the floor, and came to the conclusion that I missed Ken. Even though Jason had been mentioning leaving for the last hour and a half, he didn't seem to want to go home after we left the place. Urgh. We sat in my car for a bit while he vented his frustration over girls to me. He wanted to come in, but I was tired, so I sent him on his way. Popped onto the PPK when I got in, made some veggies and drank some water. Thought about popping onto A4A, but came to the same conclusion I came to at Rich's - I missed Ken. Passed out on the bed, and was somewhat cranky when he got home. He was randy laying down, but I was tired, and decided that I'd been going to bed frustrated for over a week, it certainly wouldn't kill him to do it once. Not a bad Friday, per se, but I definitely had higher hopes for it.
