Stunted Productivity

I'd hoped I'd sleep somewhere around a normal amount of time but I still woke at 4. Woke Julian for work, took care of the kids, took out the trash, did the dishes, put away the snacks from his afterhours adventures. Really just trying to get a productive start to the day and pump some energy but...ended up laying next to LMF reading for a couple hours instead. I finally did manage to start working around 9:30, but still didn't accomplish much. Spent most of the morning browsing poppers. Apparently Double Scorpio has started cutting corners and relying on reputation instead of living up to that reputation. But I found another company that sells regular poppers at 20/$65. That should keep me for a while. I was going to buy more carts, but it hadn't quite been a month since my last order and I wanted to make use of those last couple days and carts. I still had that one full, malfunctioning one I need to break open.
Julian stopped home for lunch, which I wasn't expecting, and also said he'd leave work at 4 instead of 4:30. Sure, they're dead on Saturdays, but he still gets paid for his time. I remembered when I was embezzling money to pay rent and they offered me shifts that were more hours, but no opportunity to steal. I don't think that's his situation, though, and I wouldn't recommend that course of action for anyone anyway. I did manage to stay productive for the rest of the afternoon, bought caffeine pills, those poppers, and started browsing some promising leads on The Quest. I caught myself becoming disturbingly fervent and backed off. Progress.
I was expecting Julian to need a bit of time to decompress or whatever after work since that's what he said he'd need, but he was ready at just about 5, so off we went. We were earlier than Tim expected and Julian had to piss, but when we finally got into the marina, some other group showed up, I lost my pen in the shuffle. Out of my league, 20,000 underneath the sea. Pens and carts are both cheap. Given the amount left in the pen, that was about a $7 total loss. I'll live. Pupple was freshly bathed, and I was the one bassically whining next to him this time. Duke, the chubby pit bull, stopped by to say hello while we were there. Knowing Pupple, I just gave Duke a treat and waved him on. We had some snacks on Pam's boat, though I briefly lost my phone. I'd left it on the dock when I went to Pupplevana. Not surprising on any level. I talked to Tim about next steps for the talk show and about how to handle my cousin. WWSD. I'm building a religion devoted to compassion, and while animals are the focus, it does still apply to humans as well. I should just message her and explain that I adopt feeders, so her comment was... Less than welcome. Ugh. We headed to Ranch 99 after, though it was further than I remembered and they didn't have mock duck. I still bought several sauces and a ton of discount rack treats. They had vacuum packed seaweed salad and tofu jerky for cents. Tim was surprised and pleased at the degrees I've relaxed my death grip on my wallet. It's a process.
Full day, but neither of us were that tired and it wasn't that late. We didn't have much idea for what to do, but I found a movie called "Otherhood" on Netflix and it seemed fine. Big names, but fine film. I found another little flick called "Milkwater" about a woman being surrogate for an older drag queen. Starring a young lady who also had a bit part in Otherhood. I'm no IMDB, but I do love that pounce. It's just usually with IMDB'S help. Julian seemed to pass out about halfway through Milkwater so I made his bed and joined Lady Miss Friday in hers.
