Saturday - Well, we made it to Ft. Lauderdale. Woke up early, and even though Ken was randy, did not have sex. We had things to do! Ate a bowl of oatmeal cookie dough (fat and sugar free), then we headed out! Hurry up and wait - both planes were delayed - the first was delayed because they had to reboot the plane, and the second because they had to get some new part for the captain's seat belt. The person I felt bad for on the first flight was our friend, Ray, who had about -15 min to get from the first flight to his connection. The person I felt bad for on the second flight was either me - obnoxious, whiny, kicking my seat child sitting behind me, Ken - having to deal with me with an obnoxious, whiny, kicking my seat child sitting behind me, or the obnoxious, whiny, kicking my seat child sitting behind me's parents. At any rate, we finally made it in to Ft. Lauderdale, met up with the fabulous, five pounds thinner Dennis, and found our way to the hotel. They apparently don't sell liquor at regular grocery stores, so we also had quite an adventure finding that. I wasn't going to drink at all, but wanted to get my "too drunk, too fast" night out of the way. Did I ever! I only had maybe 3 drinks and I was out. No problem.

Sunday - The launching of the ship had been delayed due to some giant party in town, so we had much more time than we thought we did. Good thing, because we had much less vodka than we thought we did. We had a gallon of water, and not quite 2 liters of vodka. Not wanting to spend another $40 on a cab ride, I volunteered to make the literal run to the liquor store, and pick up lunch on the way back. The jog was a little longer than I thought it was going to be, but it was good. On the way there, I heard someone playing "World Hold On", and sure enough, turned to see a cute gay guy driving past, and checking me out as he did. Go me! I also came very close to picking up some flowers for the our cabin on the cruise, but all the flowers sucked. I spent too long in Alberton's, trying to decide how much water, and in what container to buy. Bought a 12 pack, which was akward to carry back. The boys were appreciative of the 4 mile trip, and I got some good exercise, which is the important thing. Boarding went well, and we had a brief bite to eat at the buffet lunch, checked out the room, and then went up for the welcome party. The free booze being passed around was some sort of green mostly-mixer drink, and we left when the live band started playing "Celebrate Good Times".

Insert the rest of the cruise here.
