Plane of Persuasion

I'd had to shut the door last night for Lady Miss Friday, and I opened it when we woke up but she wouldn't leave. And then Kujo jumped over the barrier to use it. I closed my door, then took the lid off theirs and gave it the stir or whatever you're supposed to do to help it evaporate. The chair part of the makeshift barrier fell over and Julian freaked out, thought I was mad at him. I was frustrated, I'll fully admit, but looking back now, I think Julian really is confused why his cats don't like their litter box. He still had my credit card, so I suggested picking up a second litter box that we could fill with clumping litter. Maybe they just prefer clumping. Moved Lady Miss Friday's litter into her room. And I thought it couldn't be done. I might veer some from Mentor Mountains to Dad Domain, but I'm almost 40. It's definitely not forcing me to grow up too soon. Since I got so ahead yesterday, I scrolled FB a bit and found some racist claiming BLM is somehow both all white and anti-white, nothing more than riotous gangs, etc. I batted him about a bit, called him on his logical fallacies, and then he lost his temper and listed off a rather fascinating diatribe on all the things I'm NOT *wink wink,* cause I'm great. NO CITATIONS. I reported it for harassment & hate speech, then snagged my pro bono award. I'd liked to have had some of the thank you notes clients or house guests have left, but one does tend to misplace things when spiraling into addiction. The comment was deleted by the time I got back, but I didn't pursue. Good thing, because despite the work I did yesterday, we had a ton. Kathy noted she was maybe going to maybe start training the admins on eservice and asked me not to get precocious. I misunderstood and thought she just wanted me not to start training them, but I figured out she just didn't want me giving my usual head start on the stuff. Got all my work done for tomorrow by the end of the day and my journal completely updated. I spent some time with Lady Miss Friday, but Julian was watching some horror flick, so...back to Lady Miss Friday. Later I heard him swap to Happy Endings, so I joined him. His kids were sitting on either side of him so I just perched on the arm of the couch. He was going to move Kujo until I clarified that "Animals First" in my house means exactly that. Sure, Lady Miss Friday above all, but everyone else right after her. He left to snag a litter box around 8, and asked if I still wanted dinner around 8:30. He was going to make "meatballs" and Japanese rice from TJ's, but just never got around to it. Maybe he was expecting me to ask us to start? My trust issues are flaring up again, but this is one of those moments where I can't tell if I'm insane and/or married a sociopath. There isn't even anything glaring, just an uncomfortably high number of misunderstandings.
