Game Night: Julian Edition

Woke up early, vomited quite a bit over the course of the morning. Some weird browish mixture. Maybe bile? I didn't get around to eating yesterday, so not like there could be any actual food coming up. And yeah, not great, but given my OD's with GHB, hangovers seem like child's play. Julian had forgotten about Game Night, but he was content watching Netflix, so I took the opportunity to catch up Journaling and make my character. I'd told the DM I'd have my first draft by Sunday, and self-imposed deadlines are the strongest. It worked out well, because then I got to spend some time with Lady Miss Friday, too. She's not loud about it, but she's not happy with a visitor.
Julian was going to hop to the store to grab a sammich for lunch, but my car wouldn't start. I guess another battery died. He walked to the store, I thought about calling AAA, but couldn't see a big reason to rush that since I drive so little. I also asked him to snag any snacks he though would be needed for Game Night, and he suggested hummus. Works for me! For all that it's always better to keep current with my journal, I had a surprisingly simple time recalling. Granted, it's assisted by SMS Backup & emails, but that made no difference before. I also dug back in for my futon. I bought it from Rhino Mall on March 20, but USPS said it still hadn't received it. I emailed them, but if they don't get back to me, I'll just dispute the charge. Sam messaged that he had a package for me, and it turned out to be my webcam. I guess I didn't pay attention to which address I had it sent to.
JJD's lady friend had the night off for the first time in over a week, so he wanted to come, just not here. Makes sense to me. Patrick showed up first with a new friend, Mikael, and Tim not too much longer. Since I'd spent more time than I planned talking to Sam, I still needed to set up a drink table, put out snacks, etc., and I tried to do both simultaneously, but finally just set out the Icebreaker deck and told them to talk amonst themselves, but I'd be buzzing around in the background. It was a wonderful, naturally flowing night, and obviously magnificent to see Patrick again. We spent time on the Icebreaker & Deeper Talk decks for a while, and everyone learned something about each other. The question came up for which decision of yours has scared you the most, but turned out for the best? Or something. I get that Rehab is the cliche answer for that but....yeah, that's it. Played through a few other games after that, though I didn't really get the rules for Cranium. We played Coup again, but I couldn't sneak to the top this time. Almost. Then the above mysterious Cranium, then Joking Hazard. I saw one of the girls resting in her exercise wheel, but it concerned me because she'd been laying there all day. She was still breathing, so I guess. One of her sisters eventually laid next to her in the wheel for a while.
Julian helped me clean up after and we watched his new Shadow & Bone series on Netflix. I tapped out around 2:30, though it was a very interesting show, and I'll have to read the books.
