Since Facebook is still off-limits for me, I'd been becoming a lot more outgoing on other media. Can't post tracks to the Music Group? Just text them to people. I obviously knew I love Mountains, but I wanted some help unpacking it. And to share it, of course. I caught that it'a about actual mountains dreaming about leaving, but of course they can't. They're mountains. Herzogian goals like that. I sent it to FHA, and he found it enjoyable, if melancholic, while David didn't care for it. Music is a force of nature, and it's always so bizarre when it doesn't have anywhere near the same effect on others, no matter how narrowly or broadly we interpret that. It's Miranda describing the weather as "a little rain" while the wind tosses a car past the window. He mentioned that others failing to feel the same way can actually increase your connection, and I'm going to start trying to view it that way. My drug doesn't need to be everyone's drug for me to be *grateful* it works for me.

Since I was *finally* ahead again, I took care of eservice and some of my mail, but stopped prior to 8:30 since I think that's when most folks start. Obviously I did absolutely everything, but I opted to catch up on my journal and take care of a few other things in my free time instead of figuring out what I could do off the clock. That feels like progress.

Reddit feels like something that fits. Like, all that track jumping aligned and unlocked some stretch goals, and timelines where I find Reddit are all in the better spectrum of possibilities. Reddit, it turns out, has a subreddit for nearly everything. Someone in the Bojack Horseman subreddit asked about watching Big Mouth next. Not surprising at all, but the opportunity to use my dissection and analysis for Good is always a joy. And there are lots of subreddits devoted to The Quest.

I drank in the evening, napped for a bit, and when I woke up, the sex toy company contacted me back. I really was going to try to find $20 of ish I could throw in Bezos' wallet, but if a sex toy company wants me to get more free ish.....Amazon was still being a dick and not letting me Review it, so I messaged them. The CSR at the sex toy company linked me to the company's reddit, so I linked them to Mountains.
