Unsurprisingly, I woke up all through the night fighting back visions of a (literal) bloody mess. Up for real before dawn, and heard Sean clinking about in the kitchen. I kept having to remind myself that less cleaning is expected for surprise visits, and even less when your place was the only alternative to the streets. I took Ben out for a walk, and thought about what a massive difference there is to walk a dog first thing in the morning when you've had a halfway decent night's sleep vs dealing with insomnia. Brandon had asked me to get Sean a phone, and I took that as my cue to finally swap over to the new phone. Didn't do that much good for him as it then had no sim card and no service, but it's something. He was still able to use my wifi, though, and ordered a big breakfast. It was vegetarian, not vegan, but that's still within my guidelines of food I'm willing to buy. I was cleaning up some later and put the drink hodlers in Mouse Kingdom.

There's a Garfield comic where the TV malfunctions.... Then the radio malfunctions... Then everything starts blowing up throughout the house. All the warranties had *just* expired. I felt like that, as my new phone kept freezing and Ghost Touching, and my computer tried to thrill me by moving at a glacial pace.

Sean was quite distraught, as he's bassically blind and had no idea where he'd left his glasses. On my lunch break, I took him to a friend of his who manages an eyeglass place and bought him a new pair. I've spent more on less. He borrowed my phone and car after that, trying to figure out rehab for tomorrow. His mom and sister both messaged me with support for him, and his mom eventually dropped off some clothes and things. She also dropped off a couple sammiches and doughnuts from Dunkin. She said everything was vegan, but I only saw that DD was planning on having vegan doughnuts, not that they'd done it. Even if they do it special, so it costs a little extra.

In the evening, Lady Miss Friday wanted me on the bed, and of all the days, I wasn't going to say no today. I managed to get pretty stoned, even though the point I'm shooting for simply doesn't exist. A melody trickled through my brain, and I started tracking it. I found a vague shape like "something to believe in," and was astounded that Poison was the first result. IDGAF, if a band has a great track, they've got a great track. Here, however, they did not. One of the options once I excluded Poison was by Young The Giant, and that was it! I'd already Liked the song before, but I have no idea when that would have been.

I saw Flora running in circles in Mouse Kingdom and gave them new food and water. But then saw Fauna running around in my room and wasn't able to catch her. I closed the door, put out food and water for her, but I guess she could also squeeze under the door. Sean passed out, but woke up when Ben found and tried to eat her. I was at that horrible dilemma between being a place to sleep for Ben and keeping The Girls alive. It weighed pretty heavily in one direction when I realized Sean's mom was planning on watching Ben once Sean goes to rehab anyway. I get that Sean was still in the throes of all this and wanting to hold on to him for as long as possible, but.... He opted to crash in my car. I was delighted we found a solution.
