Empty on Xmas Eve

Turned on the space heater next to Lady Miss Friday's spot in the morning, but she didn't care for it. Tim had commented last night about the noise from the fan, but I thought I got one without a fan, that would just...heat the space next to it. I've been wrong about worse. On my lunch break, I zipped over to Lazy Acres to find a roast. Crazy line to get in and no roasts. Nothing there, at VONS, or Whole Foods. I suppose getting takeout is the traditional Jewish way to celebrate anyway. Sam messaged me in the afternoon and asked to visit, but it was just a social call. On the plus side, I figured out how to keep my carts tracked. I just took the warp off the package they came in, so right now I've got one pen that's True OG, and one pen that's Northern Lights. I AM BRILLIANT.

Apparently yesterday was foreshadowing, because I buzzed off my mustache. I gave it time, I didn't hate it, but I prefer me with a beard. I also went futon hunting after work. Maybe instead of swapping my couch, I'll just get one of those folding futons, and I can fuck on a mattress on the floor again. Dream big! I thought about running over to Ralphs, but it would just have been for wine. Like, I need other stuff, too, but the X on the treasure map would have been a jug of wine. I'm trying to figure where I stand with booze. In looking up my diagnosis from the psychiatrist there were ICD codes that talked about alcohol abuse, and folks who binge drink are classified along with alcoholics. Since I didn't have work tomorrow, I chugged a fuckton of coffee, but I still found myself exhausted before long. I took my pills "late;" after 10 even.
