Eldritch Screeching of Cute Kids

I woke up at Early Ass O'Clock. Took my pills and the opportunity to let Lady Miss Friday out for a bit, but she stayed out long enough that I turned on Netflix while I waited. The last few things I've tried to get into haven't been able to keep my attention at all better than the games on my phone, so I started watching Big Mouth. I heard something between a screech and a cry, and went back and forth in my head on what to do about it. Things echo, I had no idea what direction I should even take. I eventually made a lap around the pool, and thought I found the general vicinity where it was coming from, but got snared at the crossroads anyway. Animals shouldn't trust humans - we're dicks. Plus there are creatures who will shun shuuuuun the outcast if they smell like humans, and even some mothers who will let their kids die if they smell like us. I laid down with Lady Miss Friday when she came back in, took another pill, and eventually managed to crash for another couple hours.

I was all sorts of ready to grumpily watch more Big Mouth, but decided to take care of a few things first. Cleaned most of the walls of bug guts, put my clothes in the hamper, vacuumed, dishes, etc. I thought about making that Spiderman video for Charlie, but my momentum didn't carry through. Back to the Couch!

Kenneth messaged me in the afternoon, asking which pills knocked me out and missed his call. He was hoping I had prednisone or another steroid, something to do with his allergies and eyes. I haven't any of that, but offered my generic Claritin and got no response. My mom called later, too, as she'd sent me an auto correct fail about a lamp she was working on. Apparently Mike is stepping up, too. Frustrated at still being aware of the world around and inside me, I found a bottle of fizzy rose and downed that. I'm sure Big Mouth is just as hilarious sober, but I opted not to chance it.
