Parting Shots

I spent an absolutely magical eternity just staring at Lady Miss Friday before work. She seems much more content now that I shift the sweater she lays on during the day, in my spot, over to her side of the bed to sleep. In the last few months, I've become as swift and efficient at eservice as the rest of my job. It's like I leveled up. Since I was so close to being ahead yesterday, not even having eservice, the weekly meeting (which only sort of happened, thanks to MS Teams being wonky), or my occasional pauses to throw rocks at Trumpets could keep me from swooping in and taking claims outside of my digits. I even took a break to take a call from a *very* chatty panel attorney who's elderly rescue cat had recently died. I gave her what comfort I could, and you've already heard it.

I meant to clean on my lunch break, but the temptation to instead get caught up on journaling won out. The biggest factor in not keeping my journal updated is probably Lady Miss Friday kicking me off the computer after work, tbh. I did manage to clean after work. Did a right decent job, really, though Tim was still grumpy I didn't call Kenneth to clean.

Nicholas called me in the evening, distraught because apparently he catfished the last guy he dated. I'm still confused about that, tbh, because how did that just come up now? Surely, even if he (weirdly) used someone else's pics, when they did meet, he still found him attractive?
