A Surprise Visitor

thepnutgalleryI woke up with my clothes a bit of a mess and very little memory of the night before. Clocked in just fine, remembered to post for Tim's birthday. I'd come up with something thoughtful to say yesterday, but of course didn't write it down and so had forgotten it. I don't think I got everything he's done for me over the years, but I thankfully only touched on him saving me at the end, instead of making a big deal about it. Naturally, Tim's reply was far more eloquent, and quite touching.
I had my session with Candace, and it was fine. My homework this week is to research "counter-transference." I also tracked down a song I vaguely remembered hearing yesterday, and tracked it down to Boy & Bear's My Only One. I looked it up to post to the Music Group, but couldn't discern what it was about. Even the usual sites like Song Meanings and whatnot had nothing. Patrick texted me about Mint Mobile, I gave him my referral, but he needs a phone. Since I had him, I sent the song to him, and he said it was about suicide. I suppose that makes sense.
I was smoking, drinking, and watching Lucifer when I got a text from Michael, the gent I met at Kate's trivia, asking to come over. I'm easy, so I agreed. I got cleaned up, just in case, and tried to at least pick up the place a bit. It was very interesting. He did mention sex, but 1) won't fuck someone inebriated, 2) is a size queen, and 3) has never had an STI of any kind. He did mention that my proposed new religion sounds a lot like Unitarian Universalism, so I'll add that to my list of things to research. It was getting late, but we wandered to the topic of suffering. People get so touchy over the fact that if I had a button to end all of existence, I'd press it in a heartbeat. My joys aren't worth more than other's suffering.
Laying in bed, I was conflicted. Lady Miss Friday has always come when called, but...I was doing that thing where I didn't want to disturb her. Love of my Life, of course she joined me seconds later anyway.
