In spite of my pills, I woke up at 2, but took an extra half pill and managed to sleep more before work. My coffee pot fell into the sink, which shouldn't have even been possible, but maybe I put it back wrong or something. There were only 50 items in eservice - less than half the usual amount. I guess after swapping to the new server, Lynelle did a bunch of it over the weekend to check for bugs. Since there wasn't as much as usual, I was able to tackle other things. There was a case that I missed the updates on, and another case that I almost missed. I'm pleased with my performance, but I do feel like I'm doing some log balancing.

Julian called me, worried about my vomiting yesterday, but vomiting is a normal part of a hangover, and I've explained to him several times that ever since my addiction, I'm just more prone to vomiting. Terry then came by later, and mentioned that he and Julian wanted to have an "interfriendtion" for me, both about how much we've been drinking, and about helping Julian get back out here, and how much I give to everyone. Apparently Julian thinks I've 1) made hundreds of thousands of dollars and 2) loaned Tim hundreds of thousands of dollars. I explained that it's very, very, very common for people who need or want something from me to accuse everyone else who needs or wants from me to be using me. Very.

I calmed myself for the talk with music that I felt would make me feel better, and was touched by Taka crying when she talked about seeing cows waiting to be slaughtered, and the pain and fear they feel. But Sure, Jan, your Big Mac is totes important. I guess at least we're not back when cows we're whipped to death for those who could afford it, but....the angry neighbors spit on Terry's car again, and his connection was shaky, so I went home and called Julian on mine. Terry came over a couple times, but saw I was on the phone and just walked away. He didn't answer the text I sent him, either, so I have no idea what's going on there.

How much are you drinking if you're having daily hangovers (Which, by the bye, vomiting is not a hangover, that's alcohol poisoning)?

The amount has varied. I think I drank a larger volume by myself at the beginning of quarantine. I remember back in the day (like - 10 years ago) feeling like a lush when I went through a handle in a week. Over the course of this year, there have been times I've gone through a handle in a few days. It's one of the reasons I wish I was more sensitive to THC, or could find a research chemical or other drug. I know booze is bad at the level I go for anything.
