thepnutgalleryI always forget that Wednesdays are my day to really dig in to claims. And I always forget how much I enjoy working on them. I was a little irritated that one of the claims I had to unsubmit came back exactly the same, but I was nice, and the panel attorney was very apologetic. I also called about the EMG, but the soonest available one was at the end of October. And I called about my HSA claim, and I guess they sent a declination letter to my old address. Resubmitted, and we'll see how that goes.
Dana had messaged me yesterday about a fake bacon he enjoyed, and also asked and informed me about a movement within the animal agriculture industry to ethically produce milk and eggs and such. I'm not quitting veganism any time soon, but I'm very happy there are options for folks who aren't there yet. He also asked if I was going to celebrate Hanukkah this year. Since discovering I'm ethnically Jewish, I'd like to investigate that further, but as with veganism, I'm not dropping atheism any time soon. Apparently Dana is also ethnically Jewish but religiously atheist, and many others are the same. Finally, he asked about sobriety. As you're aware, I'm not sober, and have no desire to be, but I guess he mostly meant the harder drugs. And apparently everyone in the world but me already knew how bad GHB was. Like...I knew you could die, but that's not much of a disincentive for me.
I messaged Terry to ask how his trip was, and his review was "this kiki was MARVELOUS." He wants to buy more stuff, but in liquid form. He offered me some Japanese soup he made, but I was still working, so he napped instead. I'd expected to hear back from him later, but was also very fine watching Netflix. Unfortunately, Netflix wasn't cooperating. I should really set up my additional systems and get back into gaming. I kind of do want to buy a few PS3 games, like Eternal Sonata and Scott Pilgrim. Since Netflix was being a jerk, I poured a drink and listened to music...pretty much just Agnes Obel's performance on Deezer Sessions on repeat. She was supposed to tour with Dead Can Dance, but I wasn't as big a fan of hers, and couldn't find any DCD songs I enjoyed. Jesse sent me a message with his Halloween costume this year - Cloud's drag outfit from FF7. We talked about the concert - I guess it was moved to next year, which is understandable. I guess he missed the memo about my addiction, but just wanted me to share whatever I was addicted to.
Tim called later, though I was fairly tipsy by that point, largely talking about The Epoch Times. I'd been clicking their ad on Youtube every time it popped up, just to cost them money, but I guess even that minor click actually makes them more money than they're spending on the ad. I ripped into a few scumbags online, too, including a Friend's family members who wanted me to respect the "private conversation" he was having on my Friend's public wall post.
