Potmatess had a 3/50 deal on Heavy Hitters, Brass Knuckles, and Smart Carts, but they swiftly sold out of Heavy Hitters, and I still have about half my last Cobra Extracts left, so I decided to wait. I managed to remember to call The Center by the end of the day, and even got a response on my appeal for Crystals in Hawk. My soy curls arrived, but I fucked them up. I'll figure it out, and they weren't inedible.

I watched Community and happened on Paintball Wars, Season 2, Episode 23. There's a showdown with Annie and Pierce where she kicks a gun to him and keeps repeating "Pick it up." The whole situation tugged at the back of my brain, and her repeating "Pick it up" was enough for me to pounce. In the very first episode I saw with Methos (Peter Wingfield), there's an Immortal woman who's been using the concept of chivalry to turn the tide and take other's heads. Methos long pre-dates chivalry, so he's immune or something, so when she drops her sword trying to trick him, he kicks it back and keeps repeating "Pick it up." It's possible it was just a coincidence... especially given that the reference is from 1995, but I posted it anyway. I think I'm gonna buy the "Annie: The Day Planner" shirts for me, Ashley, and Jake next time TeeFury has a sale, too... and I re-watched the episode all night, just for that scene.

Tim called me chuckling over my 25 year old reference, but I don't remember most of the conversation.

While scrolling FB, I noticed one of the "If your parents are awful, I'm taking over" posts and reshared it. But given my own... struggles, I'm bassically Lindsay Lohan from the Esurance "Almost Mom" commercial. At the same time, San Diego Pride released a message that police can no longer march as a contingent until they stop brutalizing minorities. The usual straw men started popping up, anecdotal evidence and mis-characterizations. I am not a nice person, and I have only grown more subtle with the strength of my venom as I've grown to Wyrm....while still mentally a hatchling.
