No Kendra, But A Place

First time in a long time I didn't find really close parking, but it was still pre-bridge, so that's a win. Sent in another couple applications to places - one place put me at the forefront, but needed Lady Miss Friday's vet records. I don't think even Tim has those, as everything was done through charities. But on the heels of that, the place I went to look at last week emailed me to tell me I got the apartment! Not as good as not having to move, but I'll certainly take it. I stopped by the bank on the way home and got a cashier's check for the first month's rent and deposit, and I'll swing up there tomorrow to pick up the keys and drop off the money. When I got home I told FHA, and Tim, and Dave. Tim called me, and Dave called me, and FHA looked up the property. It's certainly a relief.

I also texted some with Justin. I didn't get the feeling he was really into seeing Kendra Morris, and I was exhausted anyway. Tickets were only $10 and I don't remember if I'd opted for Will Call or Print at home anyway. I'm happy to have supported her. I did some research on full service movers and packers, and the couple places I was able to get an estimate from had them very expensive. I guess I do need to pack everything up, and maybe even move a lot of it myself.
