Empty Day

I woke up at some point in the early morning, which doesn't really surprise me given how late and long I slept. Responded to missed calls and texts as best I could for it being before they woke up, and opted to post one of the memes I'd sent Justin. Justin also explained he'd be back in two weeks, but clarified that he'd be back in time for the Black and White Ball. Thank Gawd. Later in the morning, my mom called. She mostly wanted to talk about her goings on, but also about my drug problem and how getting help was going for that. Also, hadn't heard from me in a while and was worried, and now wants to get a text from me every day letting her know I'm alive. I guess, Mom. She did, at least, inspire me to clean a few things in my apartment. At least they won't be glaring at me every time I walk past them, now.

I was going to go to The Hole in the afternoon, but couldn't find anyone to go with. I got ready to go anyway, but then realized it was still early. Kept cleaning instead, and when I looked at the clock again, it was after 3:30. Ah, well. I dosed then, for the first time in weeks, and kept the amount small so as not to risk getting loud. Took frequent breaks from dosing for the same reason, opting to spend time with LMF or read webcomics when she was unavailable. Around 6 I wanted something sweet, but didn't want to visit the store, so I made some coincidentally vegan crescent rolls, added some sugar, and baked those. Good enough.

Went to bed at my normal time, but had a hard time sleeping when I woke up. Took over an hour after, even with sleeping meds. I was about to take more but the tired behind my eyes convinced me to try for regular sleep again just shy of 3am and that seems to have done the trick.
