Woke up at 1, tossed and turned for about 30 min, finally took some meds and booze. Managed another couple hours that way. Headed down to work and laid right back down once I got there, but did finally get up and make some coffee. Lynelle was already in and working - I guess Vankot teaches an early class on Tues and Thurs. When my shift started, I tucked in to claims, and had more hindsght. If only I'd found a way to get weed to work for me. An easy pen, or reliable edibles or something. Just gotta push forward at this point. I did send a follow up text to Angela, just making sure my application was received okay.
I did more research on drug counseling, and found out that Teladoc, the service often pushed by insurance companies so you don't clog up doctor's offices, also offers therapy. So now I just need to start that up. Or supposedly offers therapy. There's a page for it, but it prompts you to log in, and as soon as you do, it circles back to physical health. Honestly, if I'd been able to get this going sooner, I probably wouldn't be in the position I am now.
It's straight up dizzying how fast my head spins from "No Hope, Die Now" to "It's Gonna Be Alright".....and back again.
