Busy

It finally cooled down sometime in the early morning and I was able to doze some. Lady Miss Friday was unhappy for some reason, I gave her what attention I could before heading down to work, and I left the blinds closed but the fan on. Tons of restricted spaces, but I managed to find decent parking. Sent in the rental application for the place on 5th, and sent an email to a defense attorney about my case. When I was able to clock in, I made a huge dent in the outstanding claims in the queue, but couldn't quite take them all out. Mail was also a tsunami - 190 items split between the 4 of us. I'm really glad I took some of it on Friday. Also, Suzanne is leaving ADI in two weeks to go take care of her sick mum. Somehow I managed to get all the mail done, all the claims done, and start in on a bunch of the NOAs, too.

It was cooler than yesterday when I got out, thank God, but still warm enough that I couldn't bring myself to do much. I took an edible and a cocktail and laid down in front of the fan with Lady Miss Friday. I'm really hoping I get that place on 5th, because I have no idea what else I'm going to do if I don't.
