Birthday

I woke up a little late, looked for my yellow polo for college colors day, but didn't care much when I couldn't find it. I remembered my burgers, headed down to work and found close parking. There's no rhyme or reason to it, so I should stop worrying about it. I fought back some sobbing attacks on the way in to work, which I guess makes sense. I got a ton of birthday messages, though nothing from Justin. A few people used the opportunity to push their own agenda. A Scentsy shop, or someone wanting me to talk to a pilot. I deflected most of it. Made coffee at work even though I didn't feel like consuming anything.

The potluck was awkward. I was late, since the soda man was taking up the microwave space and then my burgers took forever to cook. I'm not sure if someone bought catered food - pizza, falafels, etc, or if ADI sprung for it sincce so few people signed up to bring anything. I took JJD's mail, then when I finished that, I took some of Monday's mail. I don't want to get swamped next week.

Tim had previously mentioned that he knew what he wanted to do for my birthday, but whatever he had planned, I didn't hear from him and didnt' want to go. I played some video games at home, finished the last of the Dark Days series. Only problem with that is that now Scribd thinks I want vampire books. I finally did find a new series to read, and tried to go to bed several times, but it was well after 4 that I finally managed.
