Well, That's That
Dec. 2nd, 2007 03:50 pmFriday was not a very fun day. My neck was wonky when I woke up, and only got worse as the day went on. By the time I left work, even standing up or walking too fast would set it off. Between that and the rain, driving home was a real pain. I studied a little when I got home, and felt really really good about the impending exam. We were supposed to go to the gym, but there was no way with my neck as bad as it was. We did, however, manage to have sex. :-D Afterwards, we picked up some groceries, despite Ken having no idea what he was making. We were going to go for burritos, but decided to put it off until another night. Ended up making a peanut-crusted tofu with garbanzo/cucumber salad and lemon-pepper green beans. Yum! I dropped the boys off at Belo, headed home, studied a bit more, and took a brief nap. Ken called about 1:35, asking if I could come pick them up. I got there around 1:50, and drove the block a couple times before parking and looking on foot. Nada. At 2:30, I finally borrowed someone's cell phone and call Ken who was at the drive though at La Fuente. I was not a happy monkey. Back at home we talked more about what had happened, but he mostly just asked me not to yell at him. I wasn't really that angry - just disappointed that he would be inconsiderate like that.
Saturday morning, Ken woke up with a KILLER hangover- punishment enough for the night before, in my opinion, and then drove me over to SDSU to take the LSAT, since they are one of the few campuses that still charge for parking on weekends. The test did not go as well as I had hoped, but also did not go as badly as last time. I had to guess on around 10 questions - two full logic games out of five. I think I did really really well on the other sections, but I guess we'll find out in two weeks. He and Justin went to lunch, and I went to Nicole's to help with the Easiest Move Ever - from apartment 3 to apartment 4 in the same complex. The move went faster than I was anticipating, but that was fine. I got home just a little after the boys, and we went over to Lei, except they were closed, so settled on an empty, but open Bourbon St. instead. We were shortly joined by David, and after a few drinks there, headed over to The Loft, where I had never been. We got hit on by a couple of older men who offered us coke, and Ken kicked some ass at pool, and then we headed over to Justin's for Thai food. Stayed there until the evening looked like it was going to boil down to watching movies, and headed back to our place with David. We chatted with David for a bit, and then Jason joined us. The plan had been to head out to Montage, but Ken passed out around 9:30, so that was a no go. David left shortly after, and Jason and I stayed up chatting for a couple hours before finally calling it a night.
