Not so close parking today, but nowhere near the furthest I've had to park, and Wednesday's are particularly rough anyway. The work that was slow before ground to nearly a standstill. I did at least take the opportunity to make a generic F1023 form and supplement for a friend who's starting a nonprofit. It amazes me that it took me so long to do my own, and that I hemmed and hawed over it when it's not really so difficult. Or even that I put off this one, given that I'm really just giving her an outline.
Tim called on my lunch break, explaining that the marina is going to be charging him more money each month, which makes it all the more vital that he gets the boat finished. I hope he does.
Not that I can really afford it right now, but I started looking at new boxsprings for my bed, which led to looking at frames for it, since it's all of about a $10 difference. The metal ones are the cheapest, but I'm looking at maybe one with wooden slats instead. I'm going to let things blow over and be quiet here for a bit before I do that, though. More pressing is probably the drain snake and home plumbing project, less than $20 but I'm terrified of DIY things. I think I'm more terrified of disturbing the landlord by requesting a plumber though, and that the problem is recurring, so I'll either have to learn to unclog my drain on the regular, or call the plumber on the regular. I'll take door number one.
My copies of The Last Unicorn arrived, and I posted about them. I'm such an open book, I always think everyone knows everything about me, but every time I post about...pretty much anything, really, there are people shocked to find it out. I took a whore's bath in the sink and felt much better, cleaned out the mouse cages, petted Lady Miss Friday, and poked around online for a bit. I fell asleep for a while, stayed up another few hours and then went back to sleep. It was a successful day, and while I have a ton more on my to do lists, it feels good to cross some off.
