More On Your Plate
Jun. 21st, 2019 08:16 amWork was crazy busy, plus I was exhausted and my ribs were killing me. I woke up at 3, had coffee before I left, then tea during the day to stay hydrated. Kathy was out, so I expected to do her mail and claims, but then around 9:30 Lynelle told me Zalma was also out and could I do eservice. So eservice, my and Kathy's mail and claims, then staff claims. There just wasn't any time to do anything else.
I was supposed to go with Tim to the ceremony for Tootie, but with my ribs fucked up like they are, I didn't feel like I could make it. I told him as much, and about the leg of my chair falling off and he came over anyway. I'm not sure if he didn't believe me or if he was hoping to convince me, but when he saw the ruins of the chair (I can't even lift it to take it out to the trash right now), he went ahead and went without me. I laid down and read my book for a while - up until about 8:30, when I went to the store since I figured the crowds would be done by then. They were done enough. I'd hoped after the last $50 bill to wait two weeks for my next shopping trip, and I did, but with the additional giant bag of cat food and LMF's small one, it was $50 again. I guess I'll try to wait another two weeks?
As tired as I was, I had a hard time falling asleep, and then a client hit me up around 10. He's messaged me before, but it didn't happen. He wanted me over midnight or before, but I got cleaned up and was ready, and he was taking the methy kind of space between responses, and checking every half hour or so if I still wanted to come over. By 11:30, I said another time would be fine, and he thanked me.
