Yesterday was our Pre-Thanksgiving lunch at work. My co-workers kept trying to push the plain salad on me - thank goodness I had warning from the catering company that nothing they served was vegan. I was very very very cranky all day long - I vented to Anthony about Sunday when I called him back. I refrained from snapping at my co-workers, though only just barely. Strangely, my mood improved significantly when I went grocery shopping after work, even though I hate spending money on food. I did see an ADORABLE puppy dog laying down outside of TJ's, so maybe that was it? At any rate, because of grocery shopping, I got home after Ken, though not so late that we couldn't go to the gym. It was stairmaster day for both of us, and he let me use the machine with a working CD player, so I could listen to "My December" while I worked out. I returned the consideration by stopping my workout when he stopped his. Still 450 calories, so not bad by any standard.
Dallas came over for dinner, which meant no leftovers, but that's not a problem. Ken made tofu steaks, toasty tomatoes, and spinach for dinner. It was very tasty, and surprisingly filling. I was going to try to be social, but they were just watching TV, so surfed the interwebs instead. I also drank a lot, but I was happy-drunk, so that was fine. Ken's brother called after getting some news from his mum, so I entertained Dallas while they were talking. After Dallas left, I tried to help roommate Anthony put his closet door back on, then snuggled on the couch with Ken and watched the last 5 min. of Project Runway. Slept well for the first time in days. Amazing what can happen when you're not stewing!
