Pi Day

Work wasn't that slow, though Dave and Lynelle were both out, but it seemed like everything else was. No update on the shipping of my new computer - not really sure how eager I am to get it, to be honest. I went ahead and paid my next two ambulance bills, then kept tabs on my credit card, hoping several things I previously bought would go ahead and go through, but they didn't. But I also ran out of bread at work, and decided to go ahead and add groceries onto it as well. I'm supposing it was just my anxiety that had me thinking I needed to juggle everything and time my payments just right, and/or being raised to think we were one wrong move from being homeless. Some of it was also the freak out mode I went into, cutting my grocery bill by more than half. I tried to update my PCP again, and still didn't find the website to be of any use.

I bought more bread and tofu at the store, declined to get any candy or cookies (or pie, despite the day), then put some cardboard in Houdini's cage. I almost watched a movie called The Party's Just Beginning, about depression and suicide, but read the synopsis before I started it and it apparently doesn't really end so much as it just...stops. So no. Lady Miss Friday laid on the couch for a while, but then decided we'd be better off in my room, so I turned on the movie on mute (I do like to give ratings where I can), and headed in with her. I still can't seem to finish my current book, so I alternated that and playing the couple games I have on my phone until it got late enough to justify going to sleep.
