Urgh!

So, for the past two days or so, my muscles just don't seem to want to work. Normally, I get up, Anthony and I swim before work, at work I do a couple sets of crunches and push ups throughout the day, as well as trying to walk everywhere I can, and then I go to dance class in the afternoon/evening. For the past two days, however, it's a struggle just to get myself to sit with correct posture. I didn't work out at work yesterday, and far from energizing me, my morning swim just seemed to tucker me out. Today, we didn't go swimming (as I think the cold and wet is what's keeping me sick), but I'm still tired. I thought maybe it was the morning coffee I've been having, even though I have decaf, as small amounts of caffeine have been known to make me tired, but I haven't had coffee today, and I'm still tired. Trying to get my heart rate up, as that usually leads to more energy, but walking anywhere, I feel the urge to lay down and go to sleep. I guess I've been getting less sleep, and the intensity of my evening exercise has gone up slightly, but I can't imagine that that's what's tuckering me, much less causing exhaustion in all of my muscles. It's just very frustrating, as expending energy has always brought more energy to me, and that doesn't seem to be the case lately. I did finally get a small burst of energy halfway through ballet yesterday, but it was like pulling teeth, as my papa would say, to get to that point, and it didn't even last through to the end of class.
I kind of feel like I'm trapped in mud, or cellophane, or copious amounts of cumbersome clothing, or I can't breathe, or I'm struggling against some kind of bonds, or I need to stretch, or scream, or run, or...or...I don't know. Or is a weird word, when you look at it.

Exercising everyday is really bad, you can seriously damage your muscles that way. And it sounds like you are doing an enormous amount of exercise every day, take two days off a week. :)

Also, it seems that a mild cold or flu-type bug is going around. You mentioned feeling sick (several members of CI have been sick recently) and this might also be the cause of your low performance.

Sometimes the body knows best inspite of what the mind wants. Take a day or maybe two off to rest and recuperate. Feel better then restart your exercise routines. Give your body time to recover - it'll thank you I'm certain.
