Wednesday started out being wonderful. Kind of a slow day at work, e-mailed Ken a bit - mentioned a couple classes I was thinking about taking at Frog's. Bought diet soda on the way home, and I was going to purchase another head of cauliflower from Henry's, but it was no longer on sale. I was on the phone when Ken got home, but he just started laundry. Asked him if he had any ideas whatsoever of what he'd like to do for the evening, or have for dinner.
Nope.
Class didn't start until 5:30, and it only takes about 10 min. for me to get there, so, being the suspicious sonofabitch that I am, my Spidey-sense went off when Ken asked me at 5pm if I was going to class or not. Went off even stronger when he double checked the time it got out. Opted not to take class afterall, and did cardio instead. Felt very silly when I got home and saw his car out front. Silly, silly Squeak. Ken said he was going to be home, doing laundry, and that's exactly what.....wait, why is the door closed? What's that message on the machine? Oh, Ken's gone to have drinks with Sean. Turns out that by "Nope" he really meant "I'd been chatting with Sean all day about getting together tonight, and couldn't possibly have let you know, or waited until you got home". Classic misunderstanding. My bad.
Jet over to Lei Lounge for a very awkward time. I didn't drink, though I did have some of the Tempura Vegetables, only one of them was shrimp. I could have been obnoxious and spat it across the room, but I opted to just put it in the napkin instead. Drank heaps when I got home. Ken went to bed without saying anything, and slept on the other side of the bed from me. I don't sleep much when I've had a lot to drink, and I don't sleep well when Ken sleeps on the other side of the bed, so it was no shock at all to me when my eyes snapped open at 3am. Nothing to do but munch some carrots and head into work. At least there was no traffic.
Nope.
