Thanksgiving
Nov. 24th, 2016 08:49 amWoke up early, hit the gym. David, Keagan, Chris, and Jesse all tapped out, opting for alternate plans instead. I had Tim take Pupple out so I could vacuum, clean off Hover's playground/the dining table, etc.
Matthew and his partner got there at exactly 3, John and Tootie were still supposed to come over. It was kind of awkward, to be honest. Matt Harris showed up, having just finished with a trick, and he chatted with them for a while but didn't stay for dinner. Tom Miller joined us, and once the food was served, booze was poured, and music was playing, everyone had an absolutely stellar time. Matthew, it turns out, is also a huge fan of music. Every year he listens to every CD in his massive collection. He even knows Army of Lovers, and their spinoff, Bodies Without Organs. Their main song sounds a lot like Satellites, by September, to me.
Tom lingered long after Matthew and his partner left, and Tim thinks he might have been hoping to fuck. Nobody bottoms on Thanksgiving. Gave Pupple turkey until he stopped eating...or at least slowed down enough that we figured we should stop feeding him. Tim packed up the leftovers into bags, I did one round of dishes, and finally crashed.
