Surprising Robot Advantage
Nov. 8th, 2016 09:07 amWoke up while it was still dark out, which I only expect later in the winter. It was 4 am. Couldn't get back to sleep, so finally left for work and happened to find good parking. Did a few claims, got eservice done. Catherine talked to me, because there were transcripts in my folder that I hadn't seen. Bother. I might have been able to give a provisional ballot at the firestation, since I didn't get my mail in ballot and will need one anyway, but I was so tired I laid down on my lunch break instead.
It turns out that what I'd thought was a runny nose the night before while I laid on my back was actually a bloody nose, and it started bleeding twice more before the end of the day.
Tim was home with Pupple when I got home, so in spite of my hurry, I gave Pupple some attention. Got cleaned up, then down to wait for Parker. He couldn't get out until 5, but Norman was coming over at 5:30, and we made surprisingly good time. Norman was actually late. Session was fine, though Norman was even more into Parker than last time. I came really close to giving them alone time, but managed to still make myself relevant, and the rest of the time was split pretty evenly.
I offered to make Parker dinner after, but he had a meeting to get to, and I had a vote to cast. The people at the voting office were very helpful, and I was glad I had my cheat sheet with me.
I'm glad I got everything done I needed to. Home without the energy to really do anything, so took a melatonin, let Hover run around, petted Lady Miss Friday and watched the election predictions shift. At least Prop 60 was leaning No.
