I'm adjusting to the zombie-state I remember from the insane hours I worked in my youth. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I stayed at work until 6, trying to get ahead on claims, because even though everyone will be back next week, I also have my monthly meeting and the day after holidays are always swamped.

I also tried to do the last minute things for the picnic - making/printing sign in sheets and business cards for volunteers and clients, respectively. I tried to make them at work, but Microsoft Word is actually harder to work with than I remember it being. So I asked Tim, but he also wasn't able to do anything. I was able to make them at home and send them to Fedex Office to print. My home printer is still wonky from a few houseguests trying to make photo albums on regular paper, because that's a thing you do on meth.

Drove down to Target for food, platters, games, etc. Unfortunately, they didn't have anything. Nothing I was looking for, anyway (platters and games), which made the things they did have (food) not really worth it. Hit TJ's and Ralphs, which also had no platters or games, but had good prices on ingredients. Christina suggested I get more food than I'd planned, because she and Brad had talked to a bunch of social workers and had good interest. I decided on PB&J, as well as tofu salad sammiches, cookies, soda, juice. Prepped the tofu salad fixins, went to Fedex to pick up my copies and *almost* hit the gym, but it was nearly 11 and I had more to do the following morning.
