thepnutgalleryTemps are cooler and TDP 7 work seems to be slowing down, so I was able to work on claims most of the day. I should have spent more time working on getting my desk clear/organized, but ugh. Had a surprise chat with Catherine, the new girl, as I was retrieving a file from the stacks. She offered to help me find it, no doubt having heard from Carl how people keep messing things up, and was shocked to hear I'd started there. Asked if I already had my paralegal certificate, and was shocked to hear I was an attorney. Talked about the legal market crash, plans for the future, etc. I also stayed a little late chatting via FB with Shane. He'd been late working on the website, but then I was late getting back to him, and then he got mugged in Utah, they took everything (not that he owns much to begin with). I think I should organize some sort of BBQ/Potluck/etc with the non-profit. Get to know people, sign up mailing lists, volunteers, etc. I also think I should talk to someone before I do that.
Weirdly, I wasn't terribly hungry at work. A single bowl of "meatballs" in the morning, a single cup of coffee. Was gonna eat something at home before the gym, but even though I was hungry by then, I also had a bunch of energy. Full two hour workout. RAWR! Only been another 10 days without plumbing at home, and I texted the landlord again about the situation. Waiting it out clearly isn't working.
Tim asked me to watch Pupple for a few hours while he went on a date. I want to encourage him to date, but Pupple doesn't like being at my apartment, even if he likes seeing me. And Tim hadn't walked him and my energy had already crashed. Sorry you're running late, but tell your date that, not me.
Since I have a shoot on Wednesday, I need to edge but not cum for the next couple days. I thought this would be more of a challenge, but while I could have cum, I mostly lost interest after a while. Laid down with Lady Miss Friday in the dark before finally falling asleep.
