Monday was Ken's b-day, and y'all already know how that went. :-D

Tuesday was a very LONG day - I worked over time, which is probably the last time I'll be able to, since work has been kind of slow, and then shot over to the shoot. Unfortunately, while most of my fellow cast members rock, some of them fail, and one of them in particular was over an hour late to the shoot. I feel bad for Aimee and Anthony in these situations, because there's only so much control you can have over people being on time. Jetted home after that to find a lovely Mexican pizza-style dinner waiting for me. I don't know what Ken's obsession with deep frying corn tortillas is, but it needs to stop. Mostly because of how bad they are for you, but also because he's missing a step or something, and there's very little difference, taste or texture wise, in the finished product. Justin, Ken and I were going to go for a walk on the beach after that, but I wanted to get some studying in, so I opted out. One of the last things I read before calling it a night was that the opposite of "sometimes" is "never", and this makes no sense to me, because the opposite of "sometimes" could just as easily be "always". Of course, for the purposes of the LSAT, whether I agree or not, I'm going to answer as if the opposite of "sometimes" is "never". Anyway, I mentioned this to Ken, and a brief, somewhat heated discussion ensued, because he agrees with the book. Throughout the whole thing, I kept thinking about Aimee saying, when Ken and I first got together, that he was going to be in for a shock when he met "the real me"....the real me who can't let an argument go. I don't even think that's the "real me" she meant, but it's what I thought about. I was really tired, and had very very much been looking forward to laying down with him, so it was a bit awkward to go to bed with our backs to each other. I was very glad when, after a few minutes, he pawed at me, and I snuggled closer.

Wednesday things started to slow down at work - I kept enough stuff on my plate to do something through the day, but only just barely. After work, I ran a couple of errands, and then headed over to Ken's, only to discover that the people who installed the dishwasher (we don't want one, but the whole complex is getting them) locked the one part of the door that Ken doesn't have a key to. As usual, I hadn't eaten since breakfast, so it was a rather unfortunate situation to be in...we went and got the storage unit set up, at any rate, and then hung out over at Justin's while we waited for Anthony to get home from work and let us in. Jason came over later that evening, and thank goodness I've learned to stop expecting him to be on time. He brought over a sourdough baguette and some Pomegranate Smirnoff Ice, and the three of us watched Totally Awesome, which is VH1's parody of 80's movies. It wasn't terribly funny for the most part, but the part where the blond girl screams "dancing is my life" sent me into hysterics - behold the wonders of booze.

Thursday was kind of a disappointment - we didn't really do anything. Ken went to the gym, made dinner, and got a massage, and I studied, cleaned up after dinner, and studied more. Then we watched the Logo presidential special. I guess this was good, since I had never heard the candidates speak before, but I already knew I was pulling for Hillary, so that didn't really change things. Nothing about yesterday was bad, per se, it just wasn't good, either. Really, the only good thing about yesterday was that the snuggling we got in after hours was really really good.

That made me laugh.

And did you by any chance tape or TiVo or whatever the Logo thing? I had class at the time and didn't get a chance to watch it =/

You just have to remember that the logical "sometimes" is different than your usual idea of "sometimes." If I said that the Earth sometimes rotates around the sun, it would be logically true, though it sounds weird because in our usual understanding of "sometimes" it sounds like I'm saying it doesn't always do that. :)

OK, so, um, I'm mexican. I can totally teach him how to do that right. If either of you would like me to.
