I Win!

I had been fighting with LA Fitness for just about a week regarding a fee that was supposed to be taken off, and getting very tired of chasing the glorified Used Car Salesmen that work there, so I finally called Corporate, kept my composure, and won. This was a thrilling victory, as I've heard lots about how hard it is to fight against a gym.

Work was a little rough, because my computer was running slow, which kind of killed my energy. After work, I had a few errands to run before I could jet home. Even though we celebrated on Sunday, I've always felt that people should do something on their actual birthday, or it stops feeling like their birthday, so I went ahead with my original plan for Ken's birthday of presents and dinner. I got him 1) tickets to see Macy Gray, 2) a digital camera, 3) pomegranate ice cream, and 4) Pama (pomegranate liquer), and attached a note to each, saying 1) Because even though you don't like falling down drunks, some are too fabulous to miss, 2) Because I thought you might get tired of waiting for your friends, 3) Because even though you don't have a sweet tooth, I thought you might make an exception, and 4) Because I know what your teeth are really sweet for. I put the gifts in a Starbucks bag, with the note on top of each. Martha Stewart it wasn't, but it is very me. He liked the gifts, but LOVED the notes. Then we went to Bombay with Justin, and Justin and I paid for Ken's dinner. The buffet there wasn't bad, just not worth $15. Go to Cafe India, off of Sports Arena, or, if you have a coupon, India Princess on 4th Ave. I should probably have just gotten a side of Kabuli (dessert flat-bread), but there was stuff on the buffet table that I hadn't tried, so I vowed to myself not to eat as though I was pregnant with an army, and went at it. The main point behind not eating so much that I have to throw up is 1) it's Ken's b-day, and that would suck, and 2) sex later. See 1). I succeeded about as well as I could imagine - enough that I didn't eat any more when I got home, but not so much that I needed to throw up, or couldn't have sex. Anyway, we went home, listened to Green Velvet while our food settled (Camera's ready, prepare to Flash.), had outstanding sex and went to bed. As Monday's go, who could as for anything more?

Tonight, I've got a shoot for The House, which I'm looking forward to, and then I just need to decide if I want to partake of Taco Tuesday, or have banana's and whipped cream for dinner. :-D

I don't think I've ever eaten so much it made me physically ill, that sounds pretty serious.

Sounds like he had a nice birthday, wish him a happy belated one from me!
