Worth It

3 flower pots of coffee at work, and I was still dragging. On the plus side, I managed to get all the work done, and exercise in my office. Towards the end of the day, Julian messaged me, asking me to write him a letter. His LL is terminating his tenancy, he's got 60 days to skedaddle. He's got no legal standing to insist on staying, and would be evicted for non-payment, constant noise complaints, subletting, smoking or a host of other things. But he's got no place to go and no money to move there, so he's latched onto this idea that I can write a convincing letter convincing his LL to let him stay. No plan for paying rent except to ask me and his parents. I'll write him a letter if he wants, but Legal Aid is a better bet. Julian, of course, refuses to do anything that could actually help him, especially if that thing involves asking someone else. He refused to even outline the letter - just told me to write one to get his LL to let him stay, because he's "quiet and nice." I can't even.

But of course I did. And hand delivered it, telling him before I left work to be waiting outside because I have no way of texting him. And of course he wasn't, and got upset that I just dropped it off instead of staying.

I stopped by Billy's place to pick up a Mario Prop, only to find out he doesn't actually have any stars/fireflowers/etc., just toy Marios. It was surprisingly nice to get caught up with him. I guess not that surprising since he has a boyfriend now and isn't hoping for a relationship with me. No mail when I got home, but Drunk Julian did walk in my door around 6:30. Ummmmmmmmmmm. Apparently he'd started walking and ended up 3 miles from home. At my door. He's marginally freaking out over the situation he's in, so he's getting drunk and passing out at my place. Really, I don't have any better advice to give him. But I also don't want his needy ass here making kissing noises and whining for me, so I left for rehearsal. I got stuck in Selena traffic on the way there, but fortunately was able to find parking.

I tried to go over the dance, but I was so tired I could only remember the segments, not the order those segments were in. Fortunately, one of the dancers who wasn't there last time showed up, and we went over it together. I still don't think Keith likes me, but I'm digging the piece and it shows. Mo and I go down the Soul Train line together, and he came up with a kick ball change chug chug for us to do. Orrrrrrrr we could tango, hip hip, chin chin. That one, thanks.

Julian was on the couch watching Once Upon A Time when I got home, said he hadn't had anything else to drink. He was certainly less drunk than when I saw him before, but my last handle of vodka was empty. More concerning, there was an empty bottle of Burnett's hidden in my pic-a-nic backpack. Ew, don't be Rick/Richard/Vyper/Brian/Wyatt.

I showered, but I was nervous about trying to sleep. So instead we drank, watched Parks & Rec, and listened to music. There's a Dr on P&R, which brought up Schmerber. I flat out told Julian I wanted to marry the guy, that he and I are not together, and he responded with "for now." Cue Psycho music.
