Paid my rent in the morning. Given my previous experience, any rent increase sets my hackles up in a distant part of my brain. Given that this is $50, universal, and the first rent increase in 3 years, the rest of my brain is able to calm me down. I did dishes, laundry, mopped the floor, vacuumed, but I still need to get more drawers and things. I have a lot of costume-y stuff, and I need a better way to organize it than throwing it all in a giant box in the corner of my room. Maybe another couple 3 drawer dressers? I don't know. Maybe (once he stops asking to borrow money) I can have Julian work off some of the money he owes my by organizing my place. Or I'll just have another meth addict over.

I hit the gym but didn't have much energy for anything after. Most of the Bear Folk were at the Joe Whitaker events during the day and the evening. To be perfectly honest, if irrational, I was a little upset I didn't have a pool party invite or seven. But then, I didn't really have the energy to go be social, I just wanted the invite.

Steven Richards messaged me, as he now lives in San Diego, asked to come over, maybe join for bear night. He's kind of dumb and obnoxious, but nice. Julian texted, begging to hang out again. Took Steven with me down there, just before I got him, Julian asked if we'd had sex, but included a ";-)." But he was only kind of joking, and being Julian, thought we'd had sex before coming to get him, instead of over a year ago.

As upset as I was to be missing Bear Night, neither Julian nor Steven likely had the money to go, and I don't have the money to pay for everyone, and having the two of them over was easier than either one, because they could talk to each other and keep themselves busy.
