First and foremost, I'd like to wish everyone a happy National Sandwich Month - may your sandwiches be more creative and tastier than ever.

This has been a prety big week for me so far, and promises to be even bigger, maybe. I cracked open my LSAT prep books on Monday - only for like, an hour, but it was really just to get acquainted with them. I've pretty much decided that I'm going to take the LSAT on Oct 1, though I have until the end of August to register, and therefore until the end of August to change my mind. Two months is plenty of time to study, even for a 4.5 hour test.

Also this week I had a conversation with Ken, his roommate Anthony, and The Boy. Roommate Anthony wanted me to do a partial rent in September, and be there fully October 1st. Talking with The Boy about it, I'm going to do partial rent in October, in there fully November 1st. September I'll actually be paying rent in two places - full in one, partial in another. Moving in with Ken is exciting, frightening, and all the rest, but feels like the best thing, in the long run, for all involved parties. Ken is looking into storage units near home, so that he and Anthony can make room for me. I don't take up a lot of space, but the apartment doesn't have much/any storage, and there's stuff they've been meaning to do something with since they moved in still out.

Ken was in a weird mood yesterday - not bad, per se, but definitely not good, either, and I felt obnoxiously happy by comparison. I took him to dinner at India Princess, which actually didn't help his mood any, just due to my behavior in an all you can eat situation. I think I should stay away from buffets in the future....I ended up coming into work a few hours early today. My tummy hurt, Ken wasn't feeling snuggly, and I could feel nightmares a-comin. I'm glad I did. Even though the incentive for a 62 hour work week last night was nice, I didn't have a very good week because of it, so my goal from now on is to not let it get to the point where they offer us such crazy incentives that I can't say no.

We did get a lot done, though. Marie stopped by and picked up one of the futons, so we took the other futon frame out (free to a good home), and constructed the other one. It was kind of an adventure, because we put it together backwards first, and had to deconstruct it, then reconstruct it. We are so butch!

One final, not so happy note, is that I seem to have been gaining weight since Pride - not so fast that I need to panic, but it's definitely there. On an entirely 100% completely and utterly unrelated side note, I have discovered an inexpensive canned whipped topping, and must now figure out what to do with it, preferably in some sort of sandwhich scenario, since it's NSM.

National Sandwich Month? No wonder I felt the urge to start out this week by buying two loaves of French bread, garlic-stuff olives, and making gourmet sub snadwiches.
