The Ways of Tweekers

thepnutgalleryWhen I left on Friday, my boss said anytime after 7:30 would be fine, so I came in at 7:30. He wasn't there, the door was locked, but I asked the receptionist if she happened to have keys to the office, and she did. The last two applications didn't take very long. I was waiting for them to get back to me with edits, though, so I stretched out the time by updating my journal. Finally called it a day with an hour still left to go. He's still going to try to get the edits to me, and maybe call me in for another day later this week.
Marty texted - he was somewhere in MV, and wanted to get together for coffee or something. Nina also texted, but I had to decline her invite. Finding Marty turned out to be something of a quest, even once he specified "Somewhere on Camino De La Reina." He finally gave me a landmark of "Fuddruckers." He could've just said "in front of Cumfuck and TrailerTrash's place," and I would've known exactly where he was. Except by the time I got there from my house, he had moved to the Starbucks by the trolley stop. We chatted for a while. He's staying with Arthur, the gent we had a 3 way with, while his roommate entertains guests. That seems a bit odd to me, but it's best not to question tweekers. He also mentioned that I was a special person, which is always nice to hear. Tim texted, wanted to know if he could join us. Unusual, but sure.
We all chatted for a while, then Marty left for home, and Tim and I went back to my place. He asked if Marty was a tweeker; apparently there are certain mannerisms that gave him away. I was curious, since people so often think I'm a tweeker, but he couldn't specify. He started talking about a possible job for Bonnie Dumanis' office, and I mentioned that Sunday's exploits were likely to be a problem there. He's concerned about my self destructive tendencies. I didn't say as much, but I'm concerned that some of these people who are so worried about me hurting myself haven't been able to stop themselves from hurting me, and I find that just a little hypocritical.
He was going to stay for longer, and sex might've even ensued, but I had plans.
