Practice Party

As before, I'd thought about maybe calling in today, but thought maybe I'd just take care of eservice first. Then Kris called out, so I just took all her work and figured I'd maybe call out after lunch. I kept pushing it later and later and did not actually call out. Ah well. We had our weekly meeting, though I tried to work at the same time. They want us to come in one day a week starting in maybe June or something. Ugh, but whatever. I had my monthlyish meeting with Kathy and she commented on the absurd amount of work I do these days. Kind of an awkward time for that, since I've been on "vacation" this week, but my version of that is just doing all of my work instead of mine and everyone else's.

Kevin double-checked we were bringing things - I guess one week they had about 20 last-minute Attendees who showed up empty-handed and they ran out of food, drinks, and ice. So gauche to show up empty-handed. I always bring whatever I intend to drink. We stopped at the store and I returned the stevia and bought a 6 pack of beer for Julian. Also champagne for Sunday. We left for Happy Hour at 5, but my Maps was being a dick and wouldn't actually direct us. We found our way there eventually and it was lovely. They had plenty of food & drink, and it was a really great time. And my first real social activity since getting out of Rehab. I'm fine with training wheels.
