Goblinian Bargains

I had some issue with my Outlook that highlighted a phantom email from Kathy asking again about that break from the 10th. Phantom because I couldn't find it, but it showed up in Cortana's notification email. My central takeaway is that they do care about making sure we work for all 40 hours.

I worked out the schedule for Saturday with Colleen. I'll just take her to Tim's, then the 4 of us will meet Tony in Oceanside. Tim cautioned that I should be prepared in case there's an Awkward Reunion. I really don't know how I'd even feel about seeing Jared again. On the one hand, I'm an addict who narrowly avoided conviction and death. On the other, he's a violent criminal who is presently narrowly avoiding a very serious second conviction.

I drank the entire 3-liter box of wine. I vaguely recall talking to Tim, but I have no idea what the subject matter even was. I worked a lot on the 80's Playlist for Saturday and spent a very, very long time listening to "Anything Anything" by Dramarama. I thought it was a 90's track, and unlike usual, I was filtering up listening. Even on reading the lyrics, at worst it sounds like maybe someone desperate but knowing it won't work. We've all been there.
