Affection Infusion

I couldn't remember where I'd left either of my phones, so I just laid with my eyes closed instead of checking to see if there was time for another Seroquel. Bonus, I got to spend quality time with Lady Miss Friday. Sure, we're orbiting constantly, but the opportunity to really soak in that feedback loop is kind of scarce. Checked the mail from yesterday, but it was just an EOB from Blue Shield. More importantly, I saw Merryweather drinking from the water in the living room. I get that I'm going to have to lock down Mouse Kingdom at some point, as much as I hate even the idea of that. But in the meantime I love the all, the all of them. I am not worried about Lady Miss Friday suddenly becoming a furrocious huntress, and it's been a few weeks now, so I don't think The Girls are going to chew through live wires or anything.

Carl had taken care of a bunch of eservice, so I was just a bit early. Not early enough, because I still feel like I'm about to drown. We'd received a motion for substitution on Friday, I sent it to Elaine, but didn't hear back. The staff attorney emailed her, and she commented that she hadn't seen it, but gave the okay anyway. I was supposed to send the appointment yesterday, but ran out of time, filed it today, and suddenly everyone took notice. At 4, I had a half dozen claims waiting on docs or info from the panel attorney. But at least I'd managed to get all my mail and NOAs worked up.

Patrick texted me with a bunch of unusual animal species: vegetarian vultures and spiders, poisonous birds, nocturnal seagulls, and fishing cats. Everyone knows about fishing cats, but the rest were new to me. I used to get Zoonooz, and I was particularly struck by the Palm Nut Vulture, since it was the only bird not associated with hunting. I figured they still did hunt, but would also eat palm nuts, whatever those are. It turns out those are the "vegetarian" vultures, and adults eat about half meat, half nut. Don't we all. I'll look up the others later.

I'd texted Julian to check on his pre interview, and apparently they ask about drug use for the past two years, so he "admitted" he smoked pot with me. That seems bizarre, and unless you got busted with illegal drugs (like me!), they'd really have no way of knowing for sure. I also got messages from Norman, Sam, and Charlie, but didn't really feel up to sociosexual communication. I do have hope that my libido will come back, but.... It definitely hasn't yet.
