Took my morning antacid pill and brought the tums with me to work. I think the heartburn is over, and maybe I just did some damage to my esophagus? Still popped TUMS like candy, though. It was goody Friday and Aida brought specifically vegan sammiches, so I felt like I had to take at least half of one. It took me 3 hours to eat it, and I had to drink water with every tiny, well chewed bite.
I stayed fairly busy throughout the day, stopped by the store on my way home for yet another medication. Omeprazole is supposed to help with heartburn as well as healing the esophagus. It didn't work as well as is hoped, unfortunately. I managed just a couple bites of mashed tofu over the course of the evening and each one burned like a motherfucker.
Talked some with Justin, David, and Tim about what's going on in their lives, and made tentative eventual dinner plans with both David and Justin. Read next to LMF for the rest of the night, tried not to think about my chest.
Promised myself I'd at least set up my monitor the next day, since I can't do much else at the moment.
