“THE HOUSE” RETURNS WITH ALL NEW EPISODES ON SEPTEMBER 21ST!
THE HOUSE, the most acclaimed sketch comedy show on San Diego’s airwaves, returns with all new episodes on September 21st. The long-awaited Sixth Season of THE HOUSE has been generating a buzz for several months after the series was awarded it’s second Telly Award in the Spring of 2006.
“This season is much more streamlined” says series creator/cast member Anthony Donovan. “The sketches are shorter, there’s more going on. It’s really fast-paced.” New surprises this season include the addition of 5 new cast members. Production on Season 6 began in May of 2005 and continued for almost a year. The cast and crew has been eagerly anticipating sharing the result of such a long year of work. “The pressure is really added when you’ve already won an award for something that hasn’t been seen yet.” Says Co-Executive Producer/Director Aimee’ Meredith. “We really took our time this season and these new episodes reflect that”.
THE HOUSE made its’ debut in 2000 and quickly established itself as a force to be reckoned with on local TV. “The little show that could” has been profiled by the San Diego Union Tribune and has required a small legion of loyal fans in the area. The new season will also include the re-launch of www.thehouseshow.com THE HOUSE has also joined everyone else in the free world with a profile on Myspace Comedy .
