Monday was the first day I've ever slept later than Ken, and boy did I ever! I woke up when he got up, of course, and he kissed me many many times on his way out. Then I went back to bed, woke up at 9 thinking it was 1, went back to bed and slept until noon. :D Went home, applied for a few online jobs, browsed LJ and the like, and chatted with Ken until he got off work. Played around at his place for a bit, and then we went for dinner at his friends Kenny and Nelson's. I had been going to go to class, but all of my laundry was still up in Escondido (wah-wah). At dinner, I had a couple glasses of wine, a grilled artichoke half and a couple slices of bread, which was filling enough that I wished I hadn't taken two slices of bread, and we watched The Tudors. I don't care for watching TV, but I did enjoy laying next to Ken. I also don't care specifically for The Tudors, other than the occasional shots of Rhys-Meyers shirtless. Side note, the young lady playing Anne Boleyn is BEA-UTIFUL.

Tuesday was a big big day for me, although not as big as I thought it was going to be. I walked over to The Center's Health & Human Services office, and took both the Rapid Test and the Early Test, as the Rapid Test is not early, and the Early Test is not Rapid. ;). I had a lovely time chatting with the UCSD researcher administering the test, as she chatted with me while we waited for the results. I passed! I so totally win. I wasn't TERRIBLY worried about that one, as even though most results show up within 4-6 weeks, it can take up to 6 months, and 6 months ago I had no reason whatsoever to need a test. I'll get the rest of the results back on May 2nd. For those just tuning in, these are HIV tests.
Also on Tuesday, I had lunch with a gent I used to sleep with (and probably will again). Hadn't seen him in a couple of months, so it was good to catch up. We had Thai food: it was yummy. I need to eat more stuff with coconut milk, as I greatly enjoy it. Trader Joes even sells a Lite version for $.99, ftw. I did eat a lot though, and so I wasn't hungry for the rest of the day. I saw Ken when he got off of work, of course, and he was hungry, but not sure where he wanted to go. We started walking, and ended up at Bombay, which had a fantastic item called Kabuli - soft bread with cherries and coconut. It were awesome. We watched American Idol, and then made out, which beat the Kabuli in a huge way. I couldn't stop smiling.

Wednesday was a much more chill day for me. Ken absolutely rained kisses on me in the morning, and we e-mailed back and forth through the whole day. I applied for a couple of jobs, but mostly did a lot of nothing. It was really nice, but I can feel myself getting restless, and it won't do for very long. I had to work at the studio, which caused me to miss Amy's farewell dinner. Other than that, it was largely uneventful, except for the last hour when my friend Marcus came by to chat. We had a good talk, which involved a lot of my listening, and he teased me about Ken and I getting a joint A4A profile. He originially estimated 2 months, and then I told him Ken was going to Amsterdam for a week (3 months), and then I told him that Ken asked me not to sleep with anyone while he was away.....and I agreed (before he leaves). I was really looking forward to getting some shut-eye, literally, as my eye, which had been nearly better on Tuesday, started freaking out again. I didn't sleep well, due to my eye, and it only got worse this morning.

I think it's a combination allergies (though I've never been allergic to anything) and the original scratch. It's better now than it was this morning: I could barely drive home, my eyes were wigging out so bad. They're a little better now, but I'm very much looking forward to it being completely better. I had to work at the studio again tonight, which was boring, but it was nice to see April again. Presently, I'm just waiting for Ken to call me back.
