Dating & Friend Etiquette

Peter texted me in the morning - said he'd gone to sleep early. Okey-dokey. He wanted to come by, but had to take the bus, but then got called back in to work, then missed the first couple buses because they already had bikes on them. No skin off my back - just more time to study. It was good to see him. Apparently one of his co-workers that I'd met at his holiday party was at the sex party from the other week. Not a big problem - we're not anything. At the same time, I suppose one could say we're dating now, and extra curriculars are not nice to face. Related our holidays to each other - he'd gone up to LA on xmas eve, and to Flex, a bathhouse, but didn't care for it.
At some point..maybe during pillowtalk? he talked about his roommate going to bed before he got home the night before. Doesn't mean he wasn't also asleep at 8:50 when I texted, but it does cast doubt on it.
Jason Padoan came by as we were still putting our clothes on. Introduced him to Roommate and Peter, and then we went to Loving Hut, where we ran into Jason and Matt having dinner. Since Padoan and I had so much to catch up on, we probably shouldn't have joined them, but oh, well. Chatted more back at my place - he's finished his Masters, and almost done with his PhD. I updated him on the less publicized developments since last I'd seen him. He drank, and eventually I remembered why we stopped hanging out so much even before he moved - he has developed a tendency to stay until kicked out, and didn't leave until 2am.
