Curiosity and the Squeak

thepnutgalleryWoke up around 11:30....given the night I"d had, I don't know what I was expecting, but it certainly wasn't that. Tim called me - he had some work to do on Paul's boat, but wanted to see me in the afternoon. Hit the gym, then went to the SDYP holiday party. It was okay. They mostly played a board game, I started playing the dancing game for Wii. Got through a couple songs and decided the choreography sucked, but did pique the interest of the tall black man who'd been drinking and we played youtube DJ the rest of the time. Tom asked me for a ride home, so I left off early.
Tim came by, and we hung out a bit before he left to visit his papa in Orange County. Here's where I'm bad. While he was in the shower, I looked at his messages. Sure enough, he'd had a trick on Thursday. Specifically, he'd hit up Will, the former friend of mine he cheated with back in Aug. We're friends now, and I wouldn't be upset with any of my other friends for ditching Happy Hour for sex. On the other hand, this particular trick is something of a sore spot for me, and it turns out one of the first things he did post break-up was text him. Anyway, that was still processing in my head when he left and I got a message from Wyatt, asking if I could help him move into his new apt, so headed down there. Once moving was done, it broke out into an impromptu game of cooperative Magic: The Gathering and relationship talk, which was lovely. Except 15 min in, I got a text from Tim saying his car was overheating, and could he borrow mine. I thought about it for a long time. Yeah, I was upset over Thursday, but was I upset enough to keep him from seeing his dad, for what was probably the last time. No.
Tim was asleep on my bed, and initially reluctant to wake up. I started drinking, figuring there wasn't much else to do at that point. Tim eventually got up, by which time I was squeaked, and asked me to come to bed. Yeah, no. After more back and forth on that, and him asking me not to drink anymore, he left for OC and I stayed up sharing funny youtube vids with roommate.
